At least there was a free t-shirt
Classic Ashley
This is going to be my first attempt at a multi photo blog with out Meagan around to assist me with my code so bear with me. This weekend was pretty eventfully, begin with my first Costco sick day. Although I didn't go with the excuse that Laura and I came up with last week, which was, and I quote "Hi, Costco, I have the consumption, *cough* (implied coughing blood into hanky), click", which as you all can guess is also a song. So instead of work, Laura and I went to see "The Island" with, of course, Ewan McGregor. He as always was gorgeous, both of him. It had the most dramatic product placement I believe I have ever seen. A bunch of us went to the Royals game on Saturday. It was an interesting group, it as Me, Jason, Laura, Ashley, Lisa, Brian, Tyler, Scott, and Julie and her boyfriend Mac. Well Julie and Mac, they only stayed for a while because of a taboo situation. It was pretty much the hottest day in exsistence. We decided to go early to tailgate, and Laura attempted to play "hanky sack" as Ashley called it. She had a slight problem grasping the lob, but her Brian did pretty well for being newbies. We entered that park pretty close to 4 in order to get the correct size t-shirt, this is the point where we left Julie and Mac. We stopped by our seats and then immediatly left to find a place in the shade. We moved spots a few times, since we were definatly not in our sets, Tyler and Scott became too cool to sit with us. By the fourth time we had moved, we ended up sitting with Laura's Jason ( we will now refer to him as LJ) Lisa set her spilling record by spilling cheese on her purse and mustard on her shirt, it was very reminiscent of Vegas. The day also included such events as watching some interesting characters like the hot usher from Bonner Springs, the guy with three nipples, Laura (ha), anyway, somehow we entertained ourselves since we were basically losing most of the game. Lisa, Brian, Tyler, and Scott left in the second inning. LJ continued to make the day interesting by screaming CHARGE at the top of his lungs. At one point he did it while the Royals were batting, he had the whole stadium booing him, it was brillant. We finally left the game at the top of the ninth. After a quick Sonic run, we came back played pool and watched Napoleon Dynamite. All and all a good weekend, there were of course a card full of pictures, am trying to get a few of them on here, but we will see. Now a start another wonderful week of work, and dog sitting. Wish me luck.
