National Holiday
Happy Academy Awards nomination day! I kept with tradition and skipped class today. Although it was more because I have been sick, and I am still slightly under the weather. Also to go with tradition, I now have to plot out my viewing of the nominated movies that I have yet to see. I did pretty well this year, the only movie up for Best Picture that I have not seen is Good Night and Good Luck. Which I am not to excited about. Other than that, I think I should see Memoirs of a Geisha, Transamerica (if it ever comes to KC), and although I wasn't planning on it Pride and Prejudice. I have finally gotten myself off the 3 day straight Sex and the City binge I have been on, and have made it out of the apartment. Very successful day.

I hope Munich or Capote wins...

1) What is this "Squikd and the Whale" movie? Is it a cartoon?
2) I'm rooting for Keira Knightley's beautiful performance in "Pride & Prejudice".
3) I'm dying to see "the Constant Gardner" - the book was amazing!

1) Not a cartoon, movie with Laura Linney, Jeff Daniels, and Anna Paquin
2) Keira Knightley is a freakin huge long shot, but whatever
3) "The Constant Gardner" was good, just don't go see it by yourself on a Thursday, pretty darn intense.
